We're looking for a part time coach to be a part of coaching team here at Scropton Horse Centre. This could be as an employee or freelance, coaching both BHS and Riding for the Disabled.

This is a rewarding role helping us provide activities with and around horses for health, well-being and sport. We’re looking for coaches who shares our interest in developing people through horses, with the ability to be able to grow life skills just as much as equestrian skills for our participants.

The right candidate will have BHS qualifications, but also an enthusiasm for working with a wide variety of people with different skills to help them get the most out of their time at our centre. RDA experience would be great, but more important is a real interest in helping us make a positive impact on the lives of our participants.

Can you help us find a new four-legged team member so that we can help more people?
We're looking for a healthy well schooled horse over the age of 6 with a good nature, over 15.1hh

It's been a real challenge rebuilding our horse team since Covid and we still need more horses so that we can get back to pre-Covid activity levels. We have waiting lists for RDA sessions and we really want to be able to help more people.

Any horse joining our team will work in RDA sessions and also in the mainstream sessions we run alongside RDA. They'll receive the best of care and are guaranteed to be loved!

We have a reasonable budget to buy our new team member, but would also consider loaning.
