Holiday Activities at Scropton

We’ve got some great activities taking place this

Pony Fun Morning : Tuesday 18th February 10am - 12 noon

Looking for some pony fun this half term holiday?

This morning session is designed for beginners, riders who ride on a lead rein or need extra help and will include:

🐴 Grooming your pony, helping to care for them & get them ready for riding

🐴 A fun riding session with games & more to enjoy

🐴 Fun, games & learning on the yard with a pony theme

Please dress suitably for spending time around horses in an outdoor environment.

‘Have a go’ taster sessions : Tuesday 18th February 1.30-2.30pm

Want to try something different? New to ponies and don’t know where to start? Our ‘have a go’ sessions might be just what you’re looking for.

Each ‘have a go’ session will last an hour and will include

🐴 A tour of the centre to meet the ponies

🐴 A horse care taster session to find out more about how to look after a pony

🐴 A horse agility taster session to learn about working on the move with a pony

A riding taster session to see how you feel in the saddle

These 'Have a go' sessions are open to all abilities and are suitable for participants with additional needs. There is a 13st weight limit for riding but if you don't want to ride you can have extra time doing horse care and agility. Please dress suitably for spending time around horses in an outdoor environment.

Pony Stars Sessions : Wednesday 19th February 10am - 12noon and/or 12.30-2.30pm

Looking for some pony fun this half term holiday?

These sessions are designed for riders who ride independently and will include lots of hands on pony time , fun & learning:

🐴 Pony care

🐴 Groundwork & agility

🐴 Riding

Please dress suitably for spending time around horses in an outdoor environment.

£35 per participant per session

🐴 Book both sessions for £60, bring a packed lunch and make a day of it!

Family Fun Session : Thursday 20th February 10am - 12noon

Come and join a session of Pony Fun for the whole family to enjoy together:

🐴 Get to know the ponies & work together to get them ready for your session.

🐴 Learn how to work with the ponies on the ground and have a go at pony agility

🐴 Join in games with the ponies and take part in some fun competitions

These family sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy together, no matter how much or how little you know about ponies!

Minimum age 6years (5 yrs for ASN)

£15 per person (minimum of 1 adult per group)
