We need your help to raise funds for our centre so that we can grow our activity levels and help more people improve their health and well being
Research shows that disabled people and people with long-term health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19 than any other population.
Our horses can help put this right. There’s a very real therapeutic benefit to spending time with horses; whether that’s riding them, caring for them or just spending time around them.
Whether participants come to our centre for an activity with horses or for tea with a pony, our horses can play a role in boosting their health and well-being.
During our 18 month closure due to Covid we were forced to make cutbacks to survive. We now have lots of work to do to rebuild activities up to our previous levels.
A centre the size of ours needs to be busy every day to be financially self-sufficient, so we need to find some extra funding to support us as we rebuild. It’s currently costing around £3,000 a week to keep our centre open.
This might seem a daunting amount to raise but we have fantastic support from people who really understand the impact we can make on the lives of local disabled adults and children.
Horse Appeal
We’re currently raising funds to buy three new horses for our centre. Very sadly we have lost the use of several horses in the last six months and we urgently need to replace them so that we can carry on supporting everyone who wants to come to our centre. Horses are expensive but the value they bring to our work is uncountable.
Donations towards this appeal are greatly appreciated
You too can make a real difference as every donation means that we can open our doors to more people, helping support their health and wellbeing
